A little bit about myself
Eneas Arrais
I have the soul of an Inventor. The figure of a “scientist” uncovering knowledge to create wondrous inventions has captivated me since my childhood. My interests pushed me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Systems and Media. There, I discovered UX Design, where I found my passion for creating user-centred solutions. The idea of immersing myself in a challenge and empathizing with people to solve their problems fulfilled both my creative and analytical sides.
I’m an adventurer at heart, always looking for new experiences, by exploring locations, learning cooking recipes or in the coziness of an indie game or movie.

Started my studies
I did my undergraduate degree in Digital Systems and Media at Universidade Federal do Ceará - UFC (No, not the fighting one) the biggest university in my region and the 23rd-best university in Latin America.
This major features an interdisciplinary program allowing me to learn the basics of programming, video editing and project management, while still focusing on Human-Computer Interaction.

Exchange program in the USA
In September 2015 I had the opportunity to study Computational Media at the University of California Santa Cruz - UCSC. I still can’t get over their cute banana slug mascot, which made a cameo in the movie Pulp Fiction.
During the summer of 2016, I had my first internship working at The Toy Museum of New York. I worked as a Graphic & Web Designer, creating their website, marketing and communication material.
Graduation and Internships
I successfully graduated in 2018. I held many research assistant positions within the university and was awarded a Summa Cum Laude(Highest distinction) having a 9.5/10.0 GPA.
During my studies, I worked as a UX & Web Designer at GREAT, Where I worked in a location-based AR game and an inventory management system.
In my final year at university, I held a Graphic Designer and Communication Coordinator position at Via Verde. I worked there creating content for a social media account with 15k followers and promoting 12 sales events.
